Ning Classic or Ning Design Studio?

I would love input from the users about the two.

Do you want one code to rule them all?

There is a way I can do it, it just involves change.

Also, been thinking of switching to the new design studio so please tell me all about your experiences with it and if you prefer one or the other.

That's the way I understand it too. Since we are stubborn and have kept the classic, we can keep it... until Ning tells us we can't. If they force a change though Barbara, don't fear... I will still rock the codes. ;)

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE CLASSIC BACK ON HERE. MUCH EASIER TO USE.

I agree....I like the classic better. I need user friendly and that is definitely more user friendly to me:}

user friendly is good but I think if I can find that bit of info adding to my comments when making a classic to use on DS sites

I think the new code from the generators works in the design studio. Are you talking about the comment box code?

I think that some of the ladies here are using the generator code and others are not. I think my recent codes should work in both, if you find that they don't I'd love to check the site they aren't working on and fix them.

I would like to put my input in here for I love using themes others make for me to use and if you only go to design studio then I will not beable to use them with the sites that can only take classic themes.. Now I also have sites that will not lose classic but only design studio. Some theme sites do put in the design studio code and also provide the classic code as well. ANd then like you stated you can also do one code that will work for them all which is really nice so then you dont have to wonder when you have put the code down to change your theme on your site did you use the classic or the design studio. Wow what ever you plan to do please, oh please do not take the classic themes away. One code is really nice to rule them all. Well this my input a gal that loves to change her themes many , many times throughout the year. You themers are gifted with such talent and many times I am at allllllllllllllllllllll with what you come up with . Thank you for making themes. Smiles Gloria

Well me again...I'm working on my second layout that will work both on classic and design. I suppose it will get easier as I go along but for now it seems much more difficult. The coding isn't as easy to work with as just the plain classic coding. I know there will be tips and tricks I will learn as I do more of them but for now....no likey.
