Wash day so I get to push the button and the machine does the job for me. Wow what a relaxing life I have me and my washer. I am still one of these gals that still loves to hang bedding on the clothesline . We received rain last night. The smell of rain is heavenly and hearing the rain soaking the earth was music to my hears. Would love to hear more of this music.

A glorious Sunday day to you.My goodness soon we with be flipping the calendar once more.I am extremely excited for this next week we with be having family home starting during the middle of the week and all here for the weekend for our summer reunion. Our family has truly grown since last year with more grandsons. The days will go by fast and memories will be made and loads of pictures taken for sure.

A glorious day to you. We are at 6l this morning for the temp and I am loving it. Just made up some peanut butter cup flavored coffee to start of the day. A dear friend and I are going to go out for a nice breakfast at our friendly little cafe and then we will run our errands while we are enjoying each others company. Friends, treasures from heaven above. Hubby and I had a wonderful family reunion last weekend . Memories were made and pictures were taken. Always a treat having family together, whenever time permits with everyone's busy with their lives. Sooooooooooooo exciting news for we might have another grandson for our oldest sons family are going to adopt a precious little boy that is 8 months old. Please pray along with me that this adoption goes thru smoothly . Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Have a very nice weekend that is coming up. Wow these August days are really flying by fast. A glorious Saturday day to you. We are at 46 for the temp this early morning and I am loving it.Fall is truly in the air. The sugar maple trees are starting to turn all ready around town. Hope your day has been nice to you . Fall is in the air so hubby and I have been busy doing yard work like cleaning out some of the flowerbeds and taking the apples off the two apple trees we have and etc. The temps are dropping down into the 40's for over night so it is time to start doing some of the fall things while the day time days are still into the 70's. What a glorious fall day we are having this afternoon. We are only at 55 for the temp and over night we are to have a hard frost into the 20's. The trees are starting more and more to let go of the leaves . Fall is hear to stay. Even did up a turkey with all the trimmings to warm up the home. Hubby was happy to have the aroma and later eating the meal . This month of Sept is just flying by so fast. Hope your Monday day has been pleasant to you.Have a nice week and we will do the same up north. Now where did I put that electric blanket that I stored away last spring? Gee I hope it still works. Hope your day is treating you nicely.It was so thrilling the other afternoon when it started to rain and you could hear the drops hitting the windows. Such an allsome sound . It was enjoyable while it lasted, about 5 minutes. We had a heavy frost the other night so the outside looked quite frosty. Gee I hate to turn on the heat but we might have to warm the home up a bit or then maybe I will start up the oven and just make up a pumpkin pie

Goodness the candy corn candy on the plate look good. I have such a weakness for them . Look forward each fall seeing them in the stores so hubby and I can enjoy afew bags. I am such a silly gal at heart- love it.
