Happy to hear that puppies found homes and you have a wonderful long weekend. Hubby and I also had a relaxing weekend picking up the yard so to speak, cleaning out part of flowerbeds and getting all the apples off the two apple trees we have and etc. I surprised hubby and put a nice beef roast in the oven. Temps went down into the 40's last night and will be that way for the rest of the week. Wonderful sleeping weather. Have a nice evening and a pleasant weekend that is coming up shortly. What a glorious fall day we are having this afternoon. We are only at 55 for the temp and over night we are to have a hard frost into the 20's. The trees are starting more and more to let go of the leaves . Fall is hear to stay. Even did up a turkey with all the trimmings to warm up the home. Hubby was happy to have the aroma and later eating the meal . This month of Sept is just flying by so fast. Hope your day is treating you nicely.It was so thrilling the other afternoon when it started to rain and you could hear the drops hitting the windows. Such an allsome sound . It was enjoyable while it lasted, about 5 minutes. We had a heavy frost the other night so the outside looked quite frosty. Gee I hate to turn on the heat but we might have to warm the home up a bit or then maybe I will start up the oven and just make up a pumpkin pie

Goodness the candy corn candy on the plate look good. I have such a weakness for them . Look forward each fall seeing them in the stores so hubby and I can enjoy afew bags. I am such a silly gal at heart- love it.

Hope your week has been ever so kind to you. These October days are just flying by so fast. The fall winds are bring down the leaves from the trees quickly. It is late afternoon and the temp is still in the 40's. Wonderful soup weather. Spent part of the afternoon staying toasty warm in the livingroom reading a book and enjoying a cup of apple cinnamon flavored coffee.

We have had several days when the snow came down these past weeks which did put a smile on my face and made me giggle just seeing the snow coming down. Love autumn with its freshly crispy air as you go to and fro with your warm coat , gloves and scarves on as one runs errands and stopping off at the cafe with a friend for a cup of coffee ,etc. Do have a pleasant weekend and I will do the same up north. Sorry that I have not been on for quite some time. My dear and precious sister Linda passed away last week . Such precious memories I have of her. My only sister and such a treasured and special sister she was for me and my brothers. Missing her. Life is a treasured gift with all its ups and downs. I am enjoying these precious moments even more today . Hope your days are being nice to you. We received a special treat yesterday, SNOW. It is all gone now in the yard but still on the roof tops. Cant wait to see it come down once again.

My goodness what a neato nice day for today hubby and I have two grandsons that turn 1 year old today.

One birthday party is this evening and the other one is tomorrow at noon. We live too far away for the one tonight but close enough for the one for tomorrow. My how the year flew by and many memories of the first year have been made. Grandchildren ,treasures from heaven above. Hubby and I are doing just find as fall is still here and winter tries off and on coming in with snow . Thanksgiving week is coming up, so exciting as family comes home and we gather again , smile is on my face.

Snow is on the ground and I am happy. Now I need some snowman snow to come down one of these days. So far it is quite fluffy and perfect to make snow angels.

Congratulations your precious child will soon be born. Our second to the youngest daughter was born on the 22sen of Dec and such a blessed memorial Christmas that was for her three older brothers and Mommie and Daddy. And now she has 5 children. So happy for you AnGella.
