Been running errands and also had Dr appointments with my friend and I early this morning in rain and freezing rain. Boy that was interesting. We then went over to our friendly cafe and had breakfast before we did other errands . What a treat french toast.
My goodness I cant believe that the afternoon is coming to a close soon. Hubby and I have had a pleasant wintery day so far. Time for another cup of coffee and some delicious home made soup for this evening .

When the children were young hubby and the children would make an ice skating rink in the backyard the first of the year. The neighborhood children would come also to enjoy in the fun. Such treasured memories. I even put on my old skates one time and went out on the ice when I thought no one was around. One of the children saw me though and before I knew it all were watching me . They where so surprised that Mom could even skate. My goodness, in my childhood days we would be skating every time we could get a chance to do so.

What a glorious day for today is the day 7 of us friends are going to have lunch at our friendly little cafe. We try and do this at least once a month but lately these months are just flying by so fast that it has been quite sometime since we have gathered together to chit chat and just smile, giggle and talk about this and that. A glorious day to you. Hope your week has been a very nice one so far and your enjoying your days. Went to a birthday party for our grandson's last weekend and had such a great time. Cant believe our oldest grandson is now 11 years old. And of course I am 30 , Ha Ha. Time surely flies by fast and hubby and I are enjoying every minute of it what ever the day gives us. So happy that we did get the lawn mowed on Monday and with all the rain we have been having from yesterday and today we more than likely will be mowing the yard on Sat. if it doesn't rain some more.

I pray that all drivers that need to be in this will be safe as they go to and fro . I am not kidding but this morning it is still not quite 50 for the temp and we just might make it into the 70's later on today, MAYBE. What a crazy type of temps for July. It feels quite like fall today. We have sunshine which warms a person up a bit more. Gee where are my sweaters for I sure need one on right now and another hot cup of coffee. A glorious morning to you . Wow August is now here. What happened to July for it just flew by so fast. It is only 48 above as I am chit chatting abit with you all and the sun is shining so it should make it into the 70's for this afternoon. Love this type of summer weather. The fallness is in the air and the later summer flowers are all in bloom already. Gee wondering if we are going to have a very early autumn . Love the 4 seasons. Such a treat for company is coming for a visit today and tomorrow our oldest son and family are coming over for the afternoon. Have a nice day . Smiles Gloria

A glorious Friday day to you. Hope your day is being ever so nice to you and your enjoying your moments what ever it brings you. Such a nice summer day we are having. As I am doing my daily duties I will also sneak out into the back yard to sip coffee ,read and enjoy the fresh air as much as I can today. For us we are actually are having fall in the mornings and afternoon summer , now what a treat this is to experience.

Have a very nice week . We are sure feeling fall today and I am loving it. I did put a turkey in the oven yesterday and was hubby ever happy about that meal along with the dressing. Maybe I'll make up a pumpkin pie to celebrate this autumn day.

The coffee is brewed and I have time inbetween doing the daily duties of the home to sit abit to say hello.
Hope your having a glorious Monday day with your precious moments of life. What a beautiful day we are having for we have rain coming down ever so nicely. It has been a long time since we have seen rain in our area. I just want to go walking in the rain , splash in the puddles and feel the rain on my face.

A glorious day to you. May you have a pleasant week. We are having abit of a heat wave at 37 today. Don't tell anyone but I am so looking forward to seeing some snow flakes coming down one of these days. So warms my heart just seeing the snow fall.

A pleasant afternoon to you. Let it snow , Let it snow, Let it snow. A ew flakes are coming down and I am so enjoying watching each one fall to the ground . Such a smile was on my face when I woke up this morning with snow covering the grass, sidewalk and streets. It is still there ,that smile on my face that just won't go away and each time I look outside I giggle to myself. Yes I am a child at heart even at my glorious age of 67 and soon to be 68. So do love the 4 seasons. Home made beef soup in the crock pot and now I need to make up some hot chocolate for hubby and myself as we enjoy this breezy wintery day.

Let it snow , let it snow, let it snow. we are really getting the snow today and the winds so it is blowing all over the place. So pretty to watch come down. I pray that all drivers that need to be in this will be safe as they go to and fro . After this is all and done tomorrow late morning the snow blower will need to be used for sure and long with the shovel.

A glorious day to you. My goodness woke up this morning with a temp of 35 below. Now we have the sun shining and at 22 below so we are getting warmer. Still think I will do my errands tomorrow and not today. A great day to drink loads of hot Chocolate with marshmallows in it and a candy cane stirring stick. Making a cup for hubby right now for I know he will have a smile on his when I bring it to him.
Goodness still no snowman snow any where but we have lovely angel snow.
A good day to curl up in a good book and have a warm cup of coffee by ones side. So thrilled for one of the stores had peppermint candy cane ground coffee on sale for 3 dollars instead of 7 dollars so of course I just had to get afew bags . A smile is on my face for sure.
Oh by the way hubby can you make me another book shelf, just like the other one. Please, Please Please.
