I'll try to help you out with whatever questions you may have.

You will want to go to Manage>>Language Editor>> Select the language your site uses then click on edit>>

From here do a search for the text that you want to change. Save your changes and leave that page open while you go to see if you edited the right spot in another tab or page. Let me know how that goes. :)

That is a combination of imagery and coding going on there. I have no borders on my header or module body. then the bottom color on the header matches the color of the module body. the border that goes around them is on the .xg module.

As for the column on the profile page, I am not sure what you are wanting to change, which column?

As for using my coding, you are welcome to use this coding here: Basic Ning Layout to style your site. There are some extra tips in the Ning theme tutorials if you need them.

Well some people take without asking and so I thank you for being honest and you're welcome for the use permission. :)

You don't need permission for personal use, just uses like yours for a whole site type thing. The policy that says to use as posted just means to not take our layouts apart and use only this or that from them. They must be kept whole to comply with agreements we have with our source artists.

That's a tough one to explain... if I type the characters it will want to read the html. Let me think on how to get that to you without confusion.
