Layouts 4 Ning and more!

This was shown to me by the lovely and talented Barbara MC.

Open file in Gimp -
Make sure your image is "gif"

Go to Image in the top Menu
Click Mode
Click RGB

Go to tools and click on Create and Edit Paths Tool

On your image click a starting point near the edge of the water you wish to animate.
Each place you click is the line your water will follow.
Outline your water all the way back to the starting point and click the last time right next to the starting point.
Anything within those points will be wavy.

Click Select from Menu of box with image.
Click "From Path"

From Menu of box with image, click Filters
Click Animators
Click Waves

A Script-Fu Waves box will pop up (and it may be behind your image box)
Set the amplitude to 1 or more
Set the Wavelength to 10 or more
(these settings are the best I have found but you can play with it and find what works best for you.)

Click O.K. - a green bar will flash and bring up a new image box showing the path.

On this image box, click save as
It will take you to the save window.
Name the file (top left)
Go to bottom left and scroll down and click "gif"
Go to bottom right and click "save"

Then the export file box will pop up.
Select "Save as Animation"
Click "Export"

Next pop up window click Save.

I think that's it.
Then I open it and make sure it's like I want it.
