Ning Classic or Ning Design Studio?

I would love input from the users about the two.

Do you want one code to rule them all?

There is a way I can do it, it just involves change.

Also, been thinking of switching to the new design studio so please tell me all about your experiences with it and if you prefer one or the other.

Yes, the code I am using now is for both DS and Classic. We have no plans on switching to DS unless Ning forces it.

Oh , My I would like for you to not switch to the design studio for this site. I love coming here using my many classic themes that I have. The design studio themes are nice but once again there are not a many themes out there to use as there is for the classic , that I experience. So it is wonderful to come here and the classic themes work. Now if you you do code all the themes made in the future as one code to rule them all then that would be nice for then I can use them for either classic or design studio sites that I am on and all would be fantastic in the theme world for us theme users.

lol, That's good. That's like the DS here, it is going to take me some time to warm up with it. Remember MS? Every time we turned around they were making a change where all the layouts we had didn't work correctly anymore. Thousands of layouts were junked. I don't understand coding, but that sucks. Now V3. Don't understand. At least for now we have the option for V2, I'm still mourning V1, lmfao:}

Damn I wanted to get the Corel but it is only for Windows :-(, anyone know any decent Graphic photoshop good for a Mac that isn't a $1000. lol.

lol. Connie was almost right. I have Photoshop and PSP but I use the freebie I learned on 99% of the time. It is PDN (Paint.Net). This is the link and I love it. You can also download plug ins for PDN. http://www.getpaint.net/

I have been using photo bucket again, but I mainly use BeFunky between the two they do the job. Thanks you two I will try both until I can afford Photoshop, yeah right.

Tell me about it. I remember when BON changed their profiles. I had to re-post every BON layout manually. Heck of a project that was.

Unfortunately that is for Windows and I have a MacPro, let me try Gimp. Yes that works has some added things Photobucket does not thanks!

Howdy folks, I have a question hopefully someone can answer. While the 3.0 and the 2.0 are Design Studio they are not the same, so what I can do on the 3.0 I am having trouble with my 2.0.
Anyone have a code for the advanced area that can make the modules semi-transparent or at even better different transparencies? The 2.0 seems to only have complete invisible or a color of choosing.

No I didn't have the .xg_module, once I did that did the trick. Thanks! I'm not sure about the 3.0 as of yet, I like the simplicity yet I am just now working on the Groups and am clueless but I will get there.
