Yeah, when I called they asked me if anyone was in the house, if there were any tanks near, stuff like that.

That 911 audio is so... Ugh. Standard procedure has probably prevented a few lawsuits, but at the same time probably caused an innumerable amount of injury and/or death. Not to say that there shouldn't be a protocol to follow, but one protocol just doesn't work for every situation.

My point exactly. I was q'ed (graded) on February's calls this past week...or I got the results of the q. I scored perfect 100s which I usually do and on every call I told the supervisor....this sucks you know? Or....did you count the extra minutes it took me to get a police car on scene at this wreck? I do what I have to do, but it is so not right. Injustice to most of our citizens. I love it when they get pissed and hang up....I can get on with the dispatching which is what I should have been doing anyway. Believe it or not, I agree with the fire proqa more than the police and rescue proqa. Basically in law enforecement, you need the 5 Ws....Where, what, when, who and weapons. That says it all....fast and concise. In rescue, basically 3 circumstances need more than the address, phone number and complaint- 1) cut/laceration I can tell them how to control the bleeding. 2) Chest pains I can go through the aspirin protocol and have them suck on an aspirin. 3) Most important, in a cardiac arrest, I can try to assist them by talking them through CPR. Other than those 3 call types, not a lot I can do except piss them off for a long time before I am at liberty to dispatch.

OK...nothing funny here tonight, sorry, lol. I will try to find that call for you though, it was funny. Off my soapbox and on my broom to bed. One more 4:15 am rise and shine so I can go piss everyone off for 12 more hours.

The issue actually has not been mitigated on the server unfortunately. Your apache user is continually spiking the CPU and utilizing a lot of system resources. You can see this by SSHing into the server with your technical username and password and running the top command. The things they mentioned earlier are using a lot of resources on your server. Seems like you have a buttload of wordpress plugins installed, and they're using more CPU power than you're paying for.

I haven't added anything new... but I did stop using the smooth slider when we started the new front page so I dunno why that is in there but I have disabled it completely now. I also shut of the comments for facebook since I like the way shareaholics shares the post better. It was not being used as much as I had hoped.

BB-Press was being hit by spam so I tidied that up, fixed a few php errors and completely denied a register page other than the one on wordpress which has a tougher sign up procedure.

Let's hope that helps.

I'm downloading a TV show (the show is on netflix, which I pay for, but netflix won't let me watch it on linux, so I'm OJ Simpson'ing it and stealing something I've already paid for), and included in it is a text file explaining the ideas of "the socialist libertarian revolution."

I don't know if these people are up to date on their Ayn Rand publications... But that's the oxymoron of the year. It's like "FREEDOM! _{(except from every other tax payer since they pay for my medicines, and the government, since they take 75% of my paycheck every week)}"
