Speaking of things I love... I love resale shops!

I just scored the two big ticket items on my need to have list for baby at Once Upon a Child!

First I got a bassinet/ play yard regularly $130 for $65

Today Scott is stopping back there to get a car seat/stroller they had new in the box, regular price $190 but they are selling it for $125!

The super bonus there is that the car seat isn't all dark and depressing like I was grumbling about earlier. It has dark canopies but the fabric is mostly blue and happy! lol My mom was going to spring for the travel system, so I just saved her a bunch of money, she is going to send me cash for it. Gotta love resale shops!

This one is in the wealthy part of my county, so that makes for good quality items. Hadn't been thinking much about shopping for stuff, but yesterday I woke up and it was as though He had whispered in my ear... "Go to the resale store". So I went and was blessed with good things. The two items that were at the top of my need list were there and now they are in my living room. Just got home from a walk with the stroller and the dogs. They did really well! :)

Blood sugar was 9points too high this morning. :( I hope I can fix that by not sleeping so late in the afternoon. Was 13 hours with no food, so that can release hormones that cause a spike in blood sugar levels.

I think not working or going to school for the last 6 years has made me this way. I used to be ok with schedules. lol

Time for my 10 minutes on the elliptical. I'll probably get sucked into HGTV while I am at it. lol

We were raking leaves today too, didn't burn them though. ;) Went to the pumpkin farm first, had a blast. Took me about an hour to get pictures uploaded to facebook. lol

It's been really dreary here today. Corrected last week's school work and waiting on corrections to be made. Stopping in before making dinner.

Tacos are on the experimental menu tonight. I say experimental because that's how I have felt all week, like a science experiment. Each meal is a test I have to pass or fail. Kinda stressful, which can only raise blood sugar. Makes me wonder if that 12 hour fasting and 3 hour glucose test wasn't raised due to stress levels.
