hi all keeping free sites open

hello theres free ning network owners fighting to keep all free networks open.signing up protest against it on this.its also all over myspace,facebook many other sites.

If they have a cheap option like $5/month and they host the ads I could understand that keeping a lot of unused sites off of their databases. I don't blame them as you probably can not imagine how many dead sites they have because of the free plan.

It takes money to run a site and I do believe Ning was a bit abused by people. I have heard people actually say they were not going to click on ads to make Ning money. Why not? How do these people expect a site to be free and say they don't want the people who gave them the site to make any money baffles me. But I digress...

I understand where Ning is coming from, I just want to know what they want from me. This is what all the mess is about is the uncertainty. We don't know how much Ning wants from us.
