I just slapped this up on the About Page at the layout site.

Many of us came to know each other because of a site called Skem9.com. Either we made layouts or images or we just admired the work… some of us read tutorials and some of us helped others to learn something or otherwise inspire one to teach them self. Some of us from there have just met for the first time. Skem9 may be gone, for now… but it is not forgotten. It continues to touch the lives of others if they allow it. To all of our new friends, all I can say is you would have had to have seen it yourself.

Comment by AnGella on May 24, 2009 at 9:46pm: I miss it too. When it shut down I was moving and didn't have time to play or internet to play on. Once we got settled and back online I couldn't believe it still wasn't up. I would still go there if John ever brings it back.

it made me depressed really for a few reason, one is because i thought i would never talk to many of the members again, we were a family there,second all my lyt codes and lyts was there haha and now they are all gone,third, i just hated the fact that skem9 was no longer around and i do hope John feels the urge to get back into getting the site back up i still get emails from members asking when it will be back up all i can tell them is i have no idea
