Found this on a page for one of the ladies I work with through rescue.

Do I begin my post with the kudos or the rant? Continue
I believe this is how many posts are labeled here. Either there is praise or there is disdain. I'm here to give a balanced critique of the stability of the Ning Platform.
I'm not concerned with my popularity here, what I am concerned with is the stability of the platform and and honest critique. I want Ning to work, I have invested a lot of time into helping others design their Ning networks. Ning…

It sure seems like forever since I have been able to relax. Translation - I have been on here to work lately and not had much time to 'play' so to speak. Several reasons for that. We are now a two dog family. I am looking for a job that pays me so I can keep the house the dogs the cars and the websites. Scott is looking for work too. He has a part-time gig at The Rave, a concert venue in Milwaukee. Very Part Time. He is getting some unemployment but that doesn't cut the mustard.

I have been lurking around here daily. It's just that I have been off working on the other site more. It started right before Ning made it known that the free sites were over. I decided to play around with building my own forums to compensate for the features we miss from our earlier home Skem9. I still have forums here on Ning for those members who are not signed up at our layout site, SkemaholicsAnonymous.com
, I will just be posting all of… Continue

The family's first puppy Hiro was rescued by us a week ago today. He was rescued from Indiana and taken to Tennessee. I guess things didn't work out there for him either so he ended up in Milwaukee, WI where I found him on the Wisconsin Humane Society Website. We researched his breeds and they seemed to be a perfect match for our family.
Hiro is a 6mo. old Chow/Lab mix. I like to call him my LabraChow. We absolutely love him. The vet says we look… Continue

This afternoon, feeling helpless, we decided to take a van down to Champs Mars
(the area around the palace) to look for people needing medical care to bring to
Matthew 25, the guesthouse where we are staying which has been transformed into
a field hospital. Since we arrived in Port au Prince everyone has told us that
you cannot go into the area around the palace because of violence and
insecurity. I was in awe as we walked into downtown,… Continue

YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW!!!
The man slowly looked up.. This was a woman clearly accustomed to the finer things of life. Her coat was new. She looked like she had never missed a meal in her life. His first thought was that she wanted to make fun of him, like so many others had done before. "No," he answered sarcastically. "I've just come from dining with the president.. Now go away."
The woman's smile became even broader.
"Leave me alone," he growled... To his… Continue

The School for Animals An old story tells of the creation of a school for the animals. To make it easier to administer the curriculum, all the animals took all the subjects: flying, swimming, climbing, and running. Among the students were a duck, a flying squirrel, a fox, and an elephant. These four were highly motivated, and wanted to get good grades, so they all tried very hard.
The duck did fantastically well in swimming and flying, but he lagged behind his classmates in… Continue

I'm so excited!!! I was browsing photobucket the other day trying to get some inspiration for a request I had and came across a really cute image. It was a wolf and a raven and the web address for the artist was still on the image! (With photobucket people tend to cover up these things)
So I followed the web address and was blown away by the artwork I found. The initial page was to a deviant art account. From there I found the artist's site and their terms for use. I sent him a… Continue

I hope all has been going well here. It's been fairly busy at my house. We have just begun a new business and have been doing comparison shopping. Finally got a good Craftsman Mower on sale this weekend. Now I will be working on building my Lawn Service website, designing fliers cutting them and delivering them to some chosen neighborhoods.
As if that were not enough to keep me busy, I have also been getting my homeschool room ready. Our basement has been turned into a… Continue

I just slapped this up on the About Page at the layout site.
Many of us came to know each other because of a site called Skem9.com. Either we made layouts or images or we just admired the work… some of us read tutorials and some of us helped others to learn something or otherwise inspire one to teach them self. Some of us from there have just met for the first time. Skem9 may be gone, for now… but it is not forgotten. It continues to touch the lives of others if they allow it. To all… Continue

What I love is the same thing I loved about Skem9. You had so many different styles of layouts in one place. Different ideas from different artists. It's a wonderful muse, and stress reliever.
Sure I started my own website and intended on using it to showcase my work... but this is more fun to share the space with all of you. I am going to be taking my layouts off of my other site (AnGellaDesigns.com) and using that site only to promote my website building services. But First... I… Continue

I can now use this blog to write about stuff! I will be posting my layouts in the new layout section so this blog can be all about me. :P Many of you don't know me real well. I have been rather quiet about who I am and what I am about since starting this site. I didn't want to scare you all off. I opened up a little with the groups I started, but they only scratch the surface. Whenever I sit down to write about myself for other people I think of this:…
