Member Introductions!

Come on in and introduce yourself! I'll start.

I'm AnGella, I started this network after we lost the use of Skem9.com. I had so much fun there learning how to do this stuff and seeing all the work other people made that I wanted to keep posting with others. I had started my own site to offer my design services but it was no fun posting alone. So here we are!

I'm pretty easy going. I'm modest. I'm an artaholic. I always wanted to be an artist when I grew up. My Senior year in High School was all art classes except for one required class... Econ. I wanted to go to MCAD (Minneapolis College of Art and Design) but didn't have the money post graduation. Then I guess I fell into the trap of believing I could never make a living with my art. Ok, I'm still not making any money on my art... but maybe one day. I really only got back into creating it in the past year.

I went to college when I was 25. I was able to apply for loans and grants at that time. I put art on the back burner and went for a degree in Anthropology with an emphasis in Forensics. (Death Investigation) I love it as much as art but just can't picture myself around dead people all day every day. I'd much rather make art even if it doesn't pay as well. There's that modesty... I don't need much in the way of possessions. Happiness is much more valuable to me.

I am a girl who likes to create, I especially like working with images and colors.
Finding this wonderful space is one of the few good things happened in my world on the Internet, just hope I can get to make beautiful work as I've seen of all the artists who are part of this great site.
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to exist and learn.

well ok im Valerie, live in Baltimore, MD married have 9 grown kids and assorted grandkids. Interest are: music, movies, computers and learning things, i am very curious. high school, no college. I am here because AI just started doing themes, still figuring it out! I have cfs/fm, arthritis, sciatic nerve damage....so I dont get around much. spend most of my time on the many, many sites i belong to and help admin. cant think of anything else....you wanna know just ask

Hi - my name is Sylvia Starling) - I was born in S.A. but now live in Yorkshire,U.K. I am a Wiccan.

I had just joined Theme.worx (sadly it's going to close) to learn how to do layouts & believe me I am a dummie so I need to have some really simple explaining when it comes to codes etc etc - I am only just learning how to use corel photo shop & finding it a bit difficult!

I love gardening in my tiny little patch & really enjoy planting & digging & having my hands in the soil & watching beautiful flowers come from tiny little seeds a real miracle!
I am married, no kids sadly, but have 2 cute dogs:a jack-russell called Berty & a x-yorkie called Abigail, Toady a rescued toad that I found when he had just lost his tail & seemed on the verge of death, 2 hens: Flora & Felicia & a goose called Gabriel, a small fish tank with fish & Dwarf African frogs in it & a pond in the garden with loads of fish it it as well...

I like the colours purple, blues, black & greys...

I have a thing for Native Americans, horses/unicorns ,dolphins, frogs, fairies & dragonflies - I love movies, reading & all kinds of music...

I had a hip replacement a few years ago & now need knee replacements but am too scared (hospitals not so clean unless you are wealthy & can get private treatment) so I walk quite slowly get very tired but at least I can get about...

Gad to be here and want to thank AnGella for starting this site! Hope I get to learn how to make layouts!!??? :)

Hi everyone! I'm Teresa...Ressie as a nickname that most of my friends call me by. I am just in the beginning stages of trying to learn how to do background themes. Here are a few things I would like for you all to know about me.
*I have been living with chronic, debilitating illness for 18 years. I have lupus, fibromyalgia and sjogren's syndrome just to name a few. It restricts my activities to where I can only do so much and very little if I am through a flare.
*I was born and raised in Arkansas but live in Central AR near Little Rock now.
*I have been married to a wonderful man for the past 15 years!
*I love fairies, angels, butterflies and flowers.
*Watch a lot of drama and reality TV.
*I am really looking forward to learning how to make themes!

My name is Patricia, but most of my friends call me Tricia....That means ALL of you can!! I am a straggler from ThemeWorx...not an artist...just an innocent bystander. I have always loved the beautiful themes and graphics that all of you make. I wish I had that talent and have always toyed with the idea of learning a little...just never have found the time and now that this is my busy season, I don't look to have any spare time until after Christmas. Maybe then I can begin to learn a little.

I see a lot of names here that I recognize...I have been following their work for several years and lovin it!! I am on some other ning sites....don't know how long they will be around though, but I will follow you all wherever you go, if I may. Thanks for letting me be a member here!!
