I'm working on a library for comments. I seem to have missed the forest for the trees, but a lot of stuff was comment-able on Skem9 (profiles, bulletins, layouts, photos, graphics, so on, so forth). Rather than spend who-knows how much time working on CRUD functions for each portion of the site that's comment-able, I'm just putting it all in a library so I can just call $this->load->library('comments') and $this->comments->comment_form($to,$from,$area) and various other functions for particular situations.

Yeah, the BBCode bit shouldn't be too difficult. I'd like to compare the pros/cons of doing it server-side vs. client-side.

I mean, at this point, javascript isn't a big concern, and it wouldn't require a ton of effort/resources to parse [lol] as an image tag with jQuery.

Geesh. You have such an unappreciated job Ange. I feel just awful...but I don't know what you changed...I just don't spend enough time in the forums. I will say it looks very cool, neat and clean....do I get brownie points for that?

Click the "forum" link up top, that's where the changes are.

I like it better this way, there's a lot less to scroll through to get where you want to go.

LMAO! You bet... I am thinking that this was how John had them set up. Before it was showing the main discussions in the different categories and didn't all fit on one page.

I did notice when I went to look for the changes that the images are gone from this tut: SOUL REBEL POSTER TUTORIAL (PSD DOWNLOAD AVAILABLE). Has he removed the images? And that reminds me....probably embarrass myself again....but I like the icon on the members pictures....I noticed that last night for the first time....please don't tell me it's been there two months:}
