Layouts 4 Ning and more!
For those times when Skem9 goes down and we need a back-up plan....

To my smart buds. Question. And before I ask the question, yes I have a digital camera and could probably come up with the paperwork on it or go on line and ask this question, but I figure you guys will know. My camera is several years old and I have never taken the card out. Just easier for me to plug in with usb to computer and download the pics. Finally to the question. Once that card is taken out of the camera, there is no viewing of pics with the camera right? There is no memory on the camera? I'm assuming it's just a little so so camera. The owner valued it at $75.00 so it can't have many bells and whistles.

Ignore this, I just need to test something.
There is a way to add siggies via jquery... and a database to hold them separate from Ning, but I'm no expert and the guy who did it wants $100 to use it + $50/yr for storage/updates.

Sorry when it looks like you might be trying to add a siggy I must ask, can't ignore. I didn't follow the link tho, so I did ignore that part. lolThere is a way to add siggies via jquery... and a database to hold them separate from Ning, but I'm no expert and the guy who did it wants $100 to use it + $50/yr for storage/updates.
No, I was working on something, and needed a quick way to link to something on my server from an external site to test something.
Before you buy something, give me a little bit to see if I can work something out, minus the database or $150. You can embed your own javascript on Ning, right?
Looking at what this guy (assuming we're thinking of the same guy) is doing, it seems to have less to do with jQuery and more that it's a whole Ning app or something.
His signatures are actually in the HTML source of the page, which wouldn't be the case if he were doing it via jQuery.
The way Ning's HTML structure is, it makes it difficult to differentiate what posts come from what users, at least for what I know of jQuery.

It's all magic to me, in fact I think I told some one that once... maybe it was Moppy. lol
Thanks. I've seen similar static headers on other websites, and I assumed it must be something complicated, but it really isn't. I made sure to keep it compact, though, since that's easy to become intrusive.
