Ning 3.0h No!

At this time, I am not putting any free work into Ning. I will be happy to help NC's with design for 3.0, but only for commissions.

Anyone up for themeing Main pages for creators. I see many Creators leaving their community in the hands of the Admin who have no idea how to design the Main page, this leaves them with the same theme FOREVER. Trust me I can theme but not for the Main page as AnGella knows, that takes a certain knowledge.

Yes I can design the main site, but no one will be able to design their own pages anymore from the sound of it. I am far too broke to pay for the site which may not even suit our needs. We are seriously broke right now and the bill is due next month. With all this going I just don't think I can pay for it and spend the time on it for it to not even benefit us. Wordpress of course would transform into a community site, but why hold onto Ning if Wordpress can do the same job of forums etc.

How about only doing covers that is if they allow for personal pages to design their cover or for Main pages I suppose. But an alternative to designing is ONLY designing for a fee, say backgrounds like you do but they can't have the code unless they pay say $5 to $ 10 dollars depending on the intricacies. This way you pay for Ning but honestly why not do the same on Wordpress.

Sorry let me clarify, simply show your work like you do and anyone that wants one can choose but must pay. Lets face it creators will need a Main Page.

I will do covers, but there is no need to keep a whole site open for just making images and no coding.

I'm guessing I am not being clear here which wouldn't surprise me. Switch everything over to Wordpress that solves the paying Ning. Have screen shots of backgrounds for Creator's to choose from but they must use a PayPal to receive the code. This way you get paid for all the work.
