Member Introductions!

Come on in and introduce yourself! I'll start.

I'm AnGella, I started this network after we lost the use of Skem9.com. I had so much fun there learning how to do this stuff and seeing all the work other people made that I wanted to keep posting with others. I had started my own site to offer my design services but it was no fun posting alone. So here we are!

I'm pretty easy going. I'm modest. I'm an artaholic. I always wanted to be an artist when I grew up. My Senior year in High School was all art classes except for one required class... Econ. I wanted to go to MCAD (Minneapolis College of Art and Design) but didn't have the money post graduation. Then I guess I fell into the trap of believing I could never make a living with my art. Ok, I'm still not making any money on my art... but maybe one day. I really only got back into creating it in the past year.

I went to college when I was 25. I was able to apply for loans and grants at that time. I put art on the back burner and went for a degree in Anthropology with an emphasis in Forensics. (Death Investigation) I love it as much as art but just can't picture myself around dead people all day every day. I'd much rather make art even if it doesn't pay as well. There's that modesty... I don't need much in the way of possessions. Happiness is much more valuable to me.

Hi everyone. My name is Sparky Swan, but Sparky has been my nickname since 1st grade. I was an Admin at the Twi-Family site for 2 years, originally just to style the site. I had been a programmer for 30 years and built automated testing equipment for 15 years. After leaving the job market due to a head injury I spent most of my 401K on workstations and servers and software. I thought creating my own website's would be a good future for me. Little did I know that Social Networks are the most complex, with about 20,000 lines of javascript and 10,000 lines of CSS code. Add a little HTML for framework and your done. So I began to write programs to generate graphics, as I am lousy at hand graphics. The color bar at the top of my page was created by a computer. My background full of stars was done from 4 images of the Hubble Space Telescope (Public domain) merged at a corner using Adobe Fireworks. I still intend on finishing my own server one day to offer dazzling CGI for the world to dowmload. I use a different drawing engine for each type of effect to be drawn (Grid, squares, circles, etc). I convert them to a jpg image for hi quality, and a png image to have an alpha channel for opacity.

i was here long time ago,, was born in Switerzerland, marrid a american, i have 3 childerns, the all lefr the nest,, on there own now, marrid, with there own Familie,
i'm walking with the lord.
i'm a fun person, when you get to no me...
i'm a nuese/ model. love music, love to cook/ bake.

I am Joke van Rijn Vonk from the Netherlands and I am 44 yers married with Ed, we have 2 childeren, both also married and both have 2 childeren, Our son has 2 boys of 6 and 10 years okd and our daughter has a boy of 18 years old and a daughter of 14 yers old.

I am a great fan of Elvis Presley almost 59 years long and I love to line-dancing and I have much country music!!
The T.V and my Computer are my hobbie's.
I am a house-woman and I am 68 years old and my huband Ed is 69 years old and we are still in love!!!

Hello My real name is Armentha I use to different profile names 1. Delightful Lady & 2. Lady Butterfly, I have designing tags for over 5yrs now & still have a lot to learn... I enjoy what I do as a designer but really would love to know how to make designs for my Ning pages...
