Looks like I am going to have to do a fresh install of the site. They believe that there are attempts to compromise the site or take the server down, so I have to start from scratch. :(

Just wanted to update you that the website has been shut down due to strains on the server. I am having to do a fresh install at this time and am not sure how long it will be before things are back to normal. It might also require new member details as the site was under attacks or attempts to log in. The attempts failed, but it caused a strain on the server so I am busy working to remove that problem.

Yeah, I don't mind a fresh start. Trimming the fat from all the old stuff that is no longer even useable will be ok with me. I may be able to import old posts or I may just create an "Archive Site" with that stuff. What do you think of starting fresh with Ning 3.0, facebook and backgrounds?

The latest word from our server is that all wp-login.php pages are being disabled on the server our site is on. Wordpress is being slammed with Brute Force Attacks.

There are free plug-ins I can use, I just never had them before. I had a limit login attempts, but that's not enough I guess. New site is dropping the blog. so it will be completely fresh on google too.

The site will still have the "blog" function, it just won't direct to blog.skemaholicsanonymous.com anymore, it will just go to skemaholicsanonymous.com.
