Member Introductions!
Come on in and introduce yourself! I'll start.
I'm AnGella, I started this network after we lost the use of Skem9.com. I had so much fun there learning how to do this stuff and seeing all the work other people made that I wanted to keep posting with others. I had started my own site to offer my design services but it was no fun posting alone. So here we are!
I'm pretty easy going. I'm modest. I'm an artaholic. I always wanted to be an artist when I grew up. My Senior year in High School was all art classes except for one required class... Econ. I wanted to go to MCAD (Minneapolis College of Art and Design) but didn't have the money post graduation. Then I guess I fell into the trap of believing I could never make a living with my art. Ok, I'm still not making any money on my art... but maybe one day. I really only got back into creating it in the past year.
I went to college when I was 25. I was able to apply for loans and grants at that time. I put art on the back burner and went for a degree in Anthropology with an emphasis in Forensics. (Death Investigation) I love it as much as art but just can't picture myself around dead people all day every day. I'd much rather make art even if it doesn't pay as well. There's that modesty... I don't need much in the way of possessions. Happiness is much more valuable to me.

Hi everyone my name is lisa aka snow wolf, I was a member of skem9 too and i really miss it , I have been a site creator here on the ning network for over 2 years now and i have 5 sites here, my main site is the witches lair, its a community friends site for witches etc, I am an eclectic solitary, im 51, mother of 4 wonderful kids, and a granny to 2 boys, i have been creating themes for about 7 years now, for myspace, tagged, hi5, ning and others, but my fav themes are for ning and i have a theme site on ning where you can create them and post them and learn to make them their as well, it is called snow wolfs themes and more... want to know more just ask me....merry meet and merry part till we meet again, snow wolf

Hello I'm Sora ^^[Sora Tan]~ my real name is Stefanie :3, but due to the many stefanie's in the world, i used Sora as my nickname. I love to photoshop and recently i just learn about Ning Themes, well about 3 months ago and start experimenting with it Xd, then i found this site , it seems interesting to learn more about ning themes, that's why i join this site^^~ Also my best friend is a fan of Queen Jackie's work^^~ So i hope i got to meet her while i'm here^^ ~

Hi everyone!! I’m Rafael Adam most commonly known as Graphic Designer. I used to be a member of Skemaholics Anonymous, where I always visit to view their layouts until one day I joined and decided to try it out myself. I have always called myself a graphic designer because I like the idea that I can design in many mediums, not only the web. I realize this can seem elitist (and they agreed) to not embrace the moniker of “web designer”. Every time I’ve told someone I’m a “web designer”, the word “web” stuck while “designer” soared clear over their head. The outlander’s perception seemed to be that web design was more about building than designing. This belies the skill and experience that a good designer contributes, instead making them out to be some sort of worker drone.
I trained in traditional graphic design in school—that being print design—and only ended up in web design after graduation. At my first job I held the title of “Graphic Designer”, and worked equally in print and web. I rarely do any print work these days, but I employ the things I was taught in my design classes almost daily.
So, perhaps I am a bit elitist in this regard. Web design does employ images, words, and ideas in the same way traditional graphic design does. This is the important difference, because as we all know, it’s not always how it looks, but how it works. Is that really so different from the design goals of a book or a sign? The success lies within the effectiveness of the function, not the aesthetics.

Hi, I am Stephanie and I have always been searching for a site where I can learn how to make ning layouts easily. I don't have much time online since I am a busy person. I like to role play characters and want to make layouts for them.

My name is Rosalinda Muñiz Ï'm come from Puerto Rico, and I have 37 years, I am a user of ning, and I have two pages of books, an addiction I like to design and edit images right now I'm learning to make my own templates, which I have on my page I made it, I hope to learn more.

Im Crystal...always was Crystal lol...even on skem9. cant believe its taken me this long to figure out this site exists...i havent been keeping up on my layout and image making skills so im afraid im rusty and ill have to start all over! =/

Hi everyone, Im new at this site. I love the layouts and my customers are using it but, not quiet know about generating.......hehehe........I'm inloved with the layouts and hopefully to get some knowledge of my site layouts...for my culture...lol...thank you very much
